Alright, sports are great, everyone agrees, but soccer, wrestling, and some aspects of tennis can all be greatly enhanced with a simple device, a Zorb. The Zorb I used at my friends' house was made up of about twenty or thirty inflated pentagons that were a transparent red or yellow. When the Zorb, (and all of it's parts) were fully inflated it was about four feet tall. Two of the pentagons were missing, so there was a spot where you could extend your head and feet outside of the protection of the ball to run and look around. We started out with Zorb wrestling. After a few rounds of experimentation we realized that there are a few ways to play. You can play, the first person to be knocked by the other person out of a set boundary loses, the first person to fall loses, or just who ever is too tired to continue first loses (it's actually exhausting). This is where we learn how tennis can enhance the game. At my friends' house he just happened to have a ball machine, and with three of us playing when we only had two Zorbs one person was left out of the action. We plugged in the ball machine, and we added a third dimension to the game. The person running the ball machine tried to adjust the power, and the direction of the ball so that it would hit a zorb. If the person running the ball machine was successful, when the ball hit the zorb it would make a really loud noise, distracting the person inside of the zorb giving the other person an advantage. It was really fun to try and I hope I will have the opportunity to do it again.
